Yes No What are your main concerns or frustrations? I don't know all the labor laws that apply to my company or what I should do to comply with them. The EEOC, DOL, NLRB, or a state/local agency has contacted us about an employee complaint. My managers have difficulty implementing or enforcing accountability measures leading to performance deficiencies in the workforce. My company's culture seems to be more about excuses and blaming others than it is about meeting goals and objectives. Our employees don't seem to understand what we expect of them, how we measure their performance, or what they need to do to excel. My managers need to be empowered to enforce disciplinary measures and performance requirements without fear of being accused of discrimination or harassment. We lack a uniform system for performance evaluations. We have a reactive fire-fighting work culture resulting in employees ignoring growth initiatives because they are focused on emergencies. Some of our employees are unreliable because they habitually call out, disappear during the workday, or have inconsistent performance. Former employees often leave negative reviews of us as an employer which has lead to a decrease in desirable applicants for vacancies. Employees often start off enthusiastic and energized in their roles, but within a few weeks they seem to lose their motivation for the job. I am concerned about a possible personnel file audit by ICE, or another agency. My existing HR staff have worked their way into their positions but lack actual HR experience. We have lost our most senior HR person and I need someone to support my current HR team until we find a replacement. An employee has made a serious complaint and we are unable to effectively investigate or resolve the complaint. We have difficulty incentivizing or retaining good employees. If you have any other concerns you wish to address, please include them below. Thank you!
